We’re growing our business and expanding our team! We’re looking for someone who enjoys the details and who will support our accounting team in our day-to-day operations. The Accountant will take ownership over several aspects of accounting for multiple nonprofit entities across the United States as well as assisting with payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Deposit checks, process credit card payments, and record corresponding AR entries
• Voucher AP invoices in accounting system, ensuring proper approvals and support are obtained and correct sales tax is applied
• Enter new vendors into the accounting and payment systems and ensuring that form W9 is completed for new vendors
• Complete month end accruals and adjusting entries
• Provide monthly and ad hoc reports to funding sources and management
• Assist with payroll processing by organizing documents and updating employee records in payroll system
• Continuously and proactively review systems and processes to streamline and add efficiencies
• Assist with year-end audit preparation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• Two to four years’ experience in an accounting position
• Valid license and automobile with insurance
