The Pretrial Program Specialist plays an important role in the daily operations of JusticePoint. The Program Specialist will be trained in all program functions. The Program Specialist will gain experience completing assessments inside the Rock County jail, working with clients during Pretrial Supervision, and installing/monitoring electronic monitoring equipment.
You will be the critical link between clients who are economically, racially, and ethnically diverse in navigating the criminal justice system. By monitoring a client’s bond conditions for Court, you will assist in holding them accountable. Working with the client to identify any barriers for appearing in court and how to remain arrest free. By referring clients to resources in the community, you aim to help address any identified individual needs and goals. You will Electronic Monitoring devices, such as Allied GPS and Secure Continuous Alcohol monitoring (SCRAM) devices. Producing timely and accurate EM reports for case managers and the Courts. When assisting in screening, you will be assessing the needs of individuals who are arrested and booked into the Rock County Jail and pending a bail setting decision. While at times conducting more in-depth assessments to identify individuals who may be eligible for treatment and diversion programming in Rock County.
