Electronic Monitoring Support Assistant

The Support Assistant is an essential role which serves as the first point of contact for work orders from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  This position will work with Installers, clients, and probation agents to ensure work orders are being fulfilled within the required timeframe.  The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication as well as strong attention to detail.

Upon receipt of the work orders, this position is responsible for assigning the order based on geographic location and timeframe.  This position works closely with Installers across the state by assisting with basic troubleshooting of various electronic monitoring devices and with any service-related questions. The Support Assistant will occasionally handle installations and other maintenance related requests with clients.

  • Ability to communicate professionally & accurately, both orally and written


  • High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience and/or education in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related human service field preferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, this role requires evening and weekend availability
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile with insurance
  • Pass a pre-employment (and ongoing, as required) background check
